I know that not your problem but i want to know other tools possible to maybe i can export it from blender to there then from there to quake.
We’ve used MilkShape 3D to model and animate the mesh, and qME to map and draw the skins. However, using MS3D was really problematic, as its MDL exporter didn’t support more than 255 frames.
If the newest version of Blender doesn’t export to MDL anymore, it may be more viable to revert to an older version. There’s an one year old tutorial about how to make MDL models in Blender at Inside3d, and another old thread discussing some other tools here.
