Here’s a 640x480 video of Fightoon in action. The framerate is less fluid than the previous published video, which was in 320x240, but can give a reasonably good idea of how it could have looked on the PC (the Dreamcast could never handle its software renderer at this resolution with a playable framerate).
Publishing this video was mostly a test to see if I could get a big lossless video file uploaded to YouTube. I’ve also added a few annotations, showing some of the bugs of the game.
The character selection screen featured in this video is so heavy the Dreamcast couldn’t handle it fast enough even at 320x240.
The graphical glitch at the very end of the video is actually from the video capturing software, not from the engine.
